December 2004

Welcome to our first newsletter

Intasure is growing fast with expanding networks in the UK , Spain , France and Italy . We thought it would be a good idea to keep everyone informed with a regular up-date every month entitled "Intalink News". The editor is Theodora Murray, a journalist in a previous life, but better known to some of you as a business development manager. In our first issue we will be covering:

  • FSA
  • Product News
  • Money Making Ideas
  • Comment / Forum

We want to create a completely transparent business with open and honest communication. There will be one issue of Intalink for all our introducers wherever they are based, so our network can be informed about each others developments. So on with the news!

Product news

Coming soon: We will be launching a golf policy in December to cover golfers anywhere in Europe, 365 days a year. The policyholder must live in Spain or own a holiday home in Spain.

Defective Title Insurance and legal expenses to fight Compulsory Purchase. This is good news for property owners worried about land grab or disputes.

Our holiday home insurance is now available for properties in Southern Cyprus . The rates are the same as Greece . If you would like some new brochures, which now include Southern Cyprus, please call our stock re-order line +44 (0)20 8274 6756 or in
Spain 952 781 995.

The front page of our website has changed. We can now offer further discounts if property owners phone after the initial quote – this depends on age, whether or not they have another policy with the Norwich Union and no claims history.
We receive thousands of hits on our quote system and would like to encourage more people to phone through and take out a policy. Don't worry the client will still be linked to your introducer's number, you will not lose out on commission.

Money making ideas

Under the present arrangement you receive 10% initial and renewal commission on policies taken out under your number. But you could be making more by introducing more introducers to the network. We would obviously pay the same deal to the new introducer, but we would also pay you an over-ride of 2.5% on initial and renewal commissions. So the prospect from a business point of view is quite exciting. If you had 5 outlets all paying 2.5% plus your own 10% over a 2 or 3 year period you would build up a very substantial business that could continue into retirement...

If you haven't already added an encoded link on your website to our instant quote system, but would like to, please email Eddy. Her address is efarrar@interfaceonline.co.uk

FSA

We are pleased to announce that Intasure has been Authorised and will be regulated by The Financial Services Authority. As I am sure you will be aware 14th January 2005 is a European deadline for Authorisation. All introducers are termed "Secondary Introducers" under the FSA rules. We will shortly be issuing everyone with guidelines as to what you can and cannot do under the terms of reference. For further information
on FSA regulations click here.

Comment forum

We wish to encourage communication throughout the network and any ideas and anything you would like us to communicate on will be gladly received. The line of communication for all of this is through Theodora Murray at theo.murray@intasure.com who will go to the appropriate department and provide the feedback.
